Common sense suggestions:
I would like to have a pre-shoot meeting at someplace public like Barnes & Noble Bookstore or a Starbucks. No, this is not a date. My wife frowns on that. Bring a friend if you like, or if you are 18 preferably a parent. When we set up a shoot give my name, address, and phone number to someone who will know when you are returning.
Escorts:
Occasionally someone asks to bring an escort. This presents two problems. First, though there is plenty of room to work with several models, the studio is crammed with lights, drapes and props, not a lot of room for someone else to be standing around safely. Secondly, I want you to be modeling for the camera, not for a boyfriend or girlfriend “off stage.” If you follow the advice above hopefully you will be comfortable. If you still feel the need to bring a friend of the same sex to the shoot I will need to meet them at the pre-shoot meeting.
Better option:
Another option is to have someone drop you off. They can meet me, see the location, and return at a set time or anytime you call them. There are numerous coffee houses, tea rooms, sports bars, etc in Round Rock. The huge outlet mall and Ikea are five minutes away. Also, we are in south Round Rock right on the border with Austin, just off I-35, I-45 & Mopac. The Domain and Arboretum about fifteen minutes away.
