Working with Me

All Models:

I would like to have a pre-shoot meeting at someplace like Barnes & Noble Bookstore or a Starbucks.  No, this is not a date.  My wife frowns on that.  Been married 35 years and I plan to keep it that way.

My studio is in our house.  It is not however a "home studio."  The house was built a couple of years ago specifically for the studio which encompasses the entire upstairs.

The main shooting area is 22’ x 35’ with a 12’ ceiling, multiple ceiling supports for up to 300 lbs, hardwood floor, and north facing windows allowing us to realize virtually any concept.  There is an adjacent bathroom with vanity, makeup mirror, and clothing rack.  The studio includes a large bedroom space arrangeable as needed and a 15’ x 20’ workshop/storage area/body painting area.

Experienced Models:

I use a standard model release form and of course will need to see ID.  If we shoot TFP I prefer that we both review the images at the end of the shoot and then I will be able provide finished images within two weeks.

New Models:

I will consider a trade (TFP).  This may mean splitting the time so we each get the style pictures we are looking for, or preferably working on a project that is of mutual benefit.  I will provide 1-2 finished images per look that we shoot (usually 3-4 looks).  It should go without saying (but I guess it doesn’t) that we will shoot only what you are comfortable with.

Cancellations:

I hate to add anything negative but no shows are a problem for everyone.  I spend about 2 hours planning & getting ready for a shot, 3-4 hours on the shoot, and 4 hours at a minimum working on the images.  This is a big time commitment for me.  My wife sometimes has to rearrange her schedule as well.  If its as late as the day before a text or email is fine, but if it is the day of the shoot please call me.  I don’t bite as long as I am fed regularly.  Thanks.
